Nadia Ghulam nació en Kabul hace veintisiete años. Cuando tenía ocho, durante la guerra civil posterior a la retirada soviética, sufrió graves heridas a causa de un bombardeo. La perseverancia de su madre le salvó la vida. Instaurado el régimen de los talibanes y con graves secuelas físicas, tuvo que hacerse pasar por un chico para mantener su familia.
Esta increíble representación duró casi diez años. El 2006, gracias al trabajo de una ONG, viaja a Barcelona, ya como mujer. Actualmente, estudia cooperación, ha recuperado su vida y está implicada en todo tipo de actividades dedicadas a divulgar la cultura afgana y la situación de las mujeres a su país.
Nadia habla de la Nadia, pero también de nosotros, de nuestras creencias, de la educación… Nadia es un diálogo entre culturas.
